This week are looking at three things:
- Finding a Business Partner that lives in America that aligns with my thinking.
- Thinking about the courses we will offer.
- Looking over the requirements for accreditation.
If you are a principal, teacher or a businessman who would like to see the dream of a top-notch virtual high school come true, then please contact me. One good thing is that since the school is virtual the money requirements before starting are much less than brick-n-mortar schools. Here are the only fees I could think of...
- Business license fee.
- Membership to Cognia $1200. (Cognia is the one that will accredit the high school later)
- Website Creation Fee + Website hosting fee.
- LMS fees (at least 6 months before starting the school so we can add lots of material including what educational standards our courses will follow for each lesson)
- Any other tools we might need to add with LMS. (About 6 months before starting the school to make sure everything is ready).
- Zoom Professional Fee (once we get very close to starting the school).
- Paying Salespeople (but hopefully we can find salespeople who will work on commission only)
Here are the things that I hope my business partner agrees with...
The high school will ...
- Be technically strong in STEM with extra classes in Computers and Robotics (both during school hours and offering after hours classes)
- Be open around 18-20 hours a day to allow students from around the world to attend and allow students to take night classes especially if their parents work nights to allow them a better family life. All students would get an American High School Diploma.
- Focus on the German language to allow all students the opportunity to get a college education for FREE in Germany.
- Offer optional classes after school for ACT/SAT to help students get scholarships to American colleges if they want to go to universities in America.
